Named after Quezon City where it is located. The creation of Quezon City was the consuming dream of President Manuel L. Quezon. He picked the site of the city and did the entire spade work leading to its establishment.

The Name

Named after Quezon City where it is located. The creation of Quezon City was the consuming dream of President Manuel L. Quezon. He picked the site of the city and did the entire spade work leading to its establishment. When the National Assembly enacted the law (Com. Act No. 502) in October 1939 officially creating the City, the lawmakers named it in honor of the Quezon in spite of his “obligations.” Quezon City officially replaced Manila as the capital of the Philippines form 1948 to 1976.

The Logo

The “Square and Compass” with the letter “G” at the center, describes the guiding principles of Freemasonry. It is placed at the middle of the logo to signify that it is the heart of Lodge; the gold color represents preciousness of Freemasonry. The insignia at the top of the compass signifies Freemasonry in the Philippines. The flush of light coming from the back represents the energies and dedication coming from officers and members who brings more shine to the “Square and Compass”. From darkness to light, a silhouette of Quezon Memorial Shrine represents the epitome of Manuel L. Quezon and the place to where the lodge is located. All circumscribed inside the circles…
